Insane deal. If I hadn't just bought a new pedal, I might would jump on this to replace the 2x12 solid state Crate combo I have.

I know it's part of the evil GC empire, but Musician's friend tends to have some good deals, and free shipping and no tax in most states makes it even better.

Line 6 DT25 and matching cab are half off.

Ugh. Why did you have to show me that. I had just suppressed a round of GAS over the last few weeks.

Edited to say thank you instead halgrind. I've been wanting a DT25 for long long time. This made finally getting one a no brainer. Appreciate the heads up.

I saw that deal! (I have SDOD bookmarked on my computers because I have a problem) It has to be one of the more insane markdown values I've seen on there, though I am NOT buying it because I have too many amps, not enough space, and I already got over my "phase" where I thought I needed a 60-lb 2x12" amp just to play at home.

I don't recall seeing it ever as a SDOD, but MF continues to try and clear out stock of the Blackstar HT-1 Metal version. Down to $169 now (I bought it for $189 and like it a lot). No tax and no shipping for me. The clean channel is basically the same as the HT-1 with Reverb that they sell for $350 (not the stripped down GC version), with perhaps a slightly darker voicing. Nice little one watter if you want all-tube but can't be loud hardly at all.

3dognate, you need to change the title of the thread! Like Deadcell says, they're $229, although the day is almost over and soon no one will care :)

why did you have to pay $263.30 ??

Just snagged one. Seems to get decent reviews and the demos I listened to sounded good. I mainly okay fenders but wanted to mess around with a higher gain amp. This is probably a good safe bet for the money.

Might be worth considering the pro coverage on these-they do seem to be mostly the returns from a few years back that were problematic and have been repaired... That said, I picked one up!

What would lead you to say that the amps on sale are repaired/refurbished when there is no mention of it?

I recently bought a Bad Cat Cougar from MF that was listed as a "Level 3" amp and priced accordingly. It had a few dings and a replaced volume pot

I've been seeing these amps on sale on MF for about 3 weeks now! If I could make room for the Bugera 333 2x12 its a steal at $259 shipped......I just don't have the room and the $ could go to better things ATM......

I got one of the 1960 heads, and the date on it is 2012. There were stories on the 1960 thread about a run of Bugera amps that broke down fairly consistently in that time frame. Since I'll be giving this one to the church youth band, I got the pro coverage so they don't have to worry if it turns out to be one of the questionable ones.

Those Line 6 deals are pretty enticing. Saw those earlier today.

    Just got my 6260 today
    Mine was made 8/2012
Box was sealed and its NOT a referb and there is zero rust like some have said.
The amp does work for the min or two I used it
But as of now you cannot beat the $229 for it but who know what happens a year from now..........JT

Dammm you did a lot of work within the few hours after you got the amp?
I will keep mine as a practice amp at my brothers house
These do NOT look like Referbs at all.................JT
