So far... this is the most comfortable guitar that I have ever slung. Most notably: the neck. Jumbo frets, length, radius, neck relief.

    It simply feels *good*.

    I want one with a whammy :)

I love those guitars. Almost had 1 a couple of months ago, but the guy I was ordering from got ripped off. He gave me a killer deal on my ML instead. The hardtail is still 1 i'll be getting, but i want a standard.

Then it wouldn't be a Hardtail, now would it?

    But seriously, beautiful guitar.

Hardtails are pretty sweet... Bob (Kalau Hiker) has a beaut for sale in the emporium. Only Dean design I really like (probably because the headstock isn't an affront to taste/God) :D

    hey Rich !

    thx for the kind word.
I am actually in a pending trade deal for the tail for a cool Jazzoxaster custom and and some cash.

Hardtails are KILLER deals - especially for the $$$.
They are actually more LP in play and tone than PRS.

I have 4 of em - an Amber burst quilt, a Purple Quilt, an exotic burst, and a Redwood w the great V neck.
all are great in diff ways

and the neck inlays are totally cool!

I tried a hardtail USA and hated it. Tried two and just felt cheap!

they're fantastic guitars.. have 2, a spalted Collectors' Ed. and a flamed Exotic. Maybe only 1 notch down from my Heatley Traditional. Cheap $$$$$ too.

I love the "V" neck on the CE. By far the best neck I've played on any electric. The Hardtails are different beasts than the PRSs (McCarty, Singlecut). Definitely more rock machines.. but still useful for a variety of styles.

The pics aren't the greatest.. but here ya go!
