SOLD on Reverb, thanks!
Really nice and quite rare DeArmond by Guild Bajo Jet with a 30.5" Scale length so it can be set up as a Bass Vi or a Baritone tuned to Low A or B. These were only made for a short time and, while most of them are very heavy, this one weighs in at 8.5lbs which is extremely light for this Thunderbird style of instrument. I've got this tuned A-A and it's been set up recently so it plays well and in tune with comfortable action and a straight neck.
Frets are in very good shape, truss rod works fine and there's only light signs of playing wear overall, with some typical dings and dents for an 18 yo guitar, mostly on the back.
The pickups are the original DeArmond Dynasonic/2K reissues with an innovative switching system. One of the 3-way toggles selects Bridge/Bridge+Neck/Neck and the other 3-way toggle controls the middle pickup Off/In Phase/Out Of Phase. Everything works and sounds great with lots of cool and usable sounds on tap. Watch the demo video below for all of the available pickup combinations.
According to the spec sheet, this guitar features a Mahogany body & neck with a Rosewood fretboard. It's 1.625" at the nut with a 12" radius and a medium C shaped neck.
Comes in a hardshell case.
