Deception of Love

    This is a song I co-wrote and played on for an amazing artist named Jasmin Handon.

    I used a Taylor 214 into a Peluso 2247LE and Audix i5. Preamp was a Universal Audio 2-610. Recorded into Samplitude 9 via a Fireface 800. I hope you like it.

    Beautiful voice and a young pretty lady! Very nice guitar work on top of that!

    Sounds great. The verb is a little unexpected and I'm not sure how I feel about that for such an intimate tune. This isn't really my preferred genre though so what do I know. I know those are the hottest hot pants I've seen all week.

    Great performances! I agree that, for my tastes, I would mix it a lot dryer.

    Thanks for the compliments and comments. With regards to the use of reverb in the mix, I was trying to create a feel of the late 50's by using the UAD plate. I may go back and make it a bit drier, but for now I'm pretty happy with it.
