Delay Question?

This is a follow up to my other delay threads. My question is that if you have multiple delays on your board, how often do you guys use multiples at the same time? I can dial in any delay tone i want with my Nova Repeater, and so far i haven't wanted anything i couldn't have with it, and i haven't wanted to use multiple delays at the same time yet, but i was considering picking up a cheap boss DD3 as a second delay for faster settings or something like that. Does this sound like a decently good idea?

I'm not sure by what you mean by faster settings. Are you meaning getting a second delay for the sake of having the second one preset for the next song? Like you, I have the Nova Repeater as my main delay, but I do have a second delay but it's analog. I run analog first into the Repeater. The analog is for fill and slapback, as I like the warmth of the analog. It may be worth trying out that combo over digital/digital.

Overdriver18,
Yep. My main board has a Boss DD5 (set for Edge flavored dotted 8th delay), and a Line 6 DL4 (for flavorful low res, multi-head warble and auto swell synth/pad ambiance). The DL4 is set as a quarter note, as that is pretty much the only option. I do stack them to get a dotted 8th// colored quarter "gallop". I can't find a substitute for my DL4... not an Echo Park, not a Empress modified Super Delay... the Eventide Time factor is a bit too rich for my blood... but I do have a T C Nova Delay on my "B" board. it's very cool... you can even stack them and get the dotted 8th//quarter thing! Even run it stereo so the dotted 8th goes to one amp and the quarter goes to another! It also has 9 presets + a manuel mode and BPM programable presets.
If you don't need a lot of color on your delay tails, the Nova is about as cool as it gets for the money.

Oh, and the Nova pedals are built with quality switches and nice, hardy cases. I prefer the Nova Delay over the Nova Repeater specifically for the BPM and 9 preset features, but there are more features in the Nova Delay than the Nova Repeater... even though, the Nova Repeater is a nice pedal that looks very cool.
and...
JNEPO1, your board is gorgeous. So, so very clean. That wah is very seductive, too.
