Looking for a list of delay pedals that I am able to operate the Tap tempo externally (to my looper strip that has a tap tempo), but can also has a MIDI out so I can split to my Boss Slicer and my 8 Step Program. I think I may have to bite the bullet and get the Eventide Time Factor. It's pricey though...

    Moog MF104M.

Reverb .com also has the MF104M Super Delay.

Well, That doesn't have a MIDI OUT or a Tap tempo out (that I can see on the back) AND is even more $$ than the Eventide. 0-3

I know this isn't what you asked for, but I was thinking it could be a way to open the door to more Delay pedals that don't have a MIDI out, though you'll need the room for it on your board. It is intriguing, kind of want to check one out myself, but I already have a Timeline (which will do what you want, but expensive like the TimeFactor):

Used Timefactors can be found at ~$250, it's a bargain for such a wonderful dual delay pedal.
It's the only one I know that can send midi.

My other thought was somehow modifying a Molten Voltage Tempode so that the tap tempo could be accessed externally. Maybe I should contact them about doing that?

Smart clock is a better solution for me.

I'm a little confused about what your goal is.

The tap button is on top of the pedal - also you can set the tempo using MIDI CC commands. Tempode stores the tempo for 128 MIDI programs.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks!

Timefactor does what you want. Get a used one.

The moog does not have a midi output.
It only has a midi input.

It's not a dedicated delay, but the Line 6 M5 should be able to do what you're looking for.
