    Hi,

Perhaps a clone, perhaps the new EH version... anything capture thetone and essence of the original?

    STEREO too...

    Thanks,

The XO version sounds the same as the ones they have been building for a long while.

The DMM's magic is in its size. Size matters

the TCE Flashback has gotten some positive reviews from DMM owners - sure it's not the same, but to their ears it's pretty good

i had to sell my DMM a few months ago and my FB should get here in the next few days. i don't expect it to be the same nor will i be able to a/b them but if it's close, for the price and the size it's a win

One of the great things about the DMM is its boost/tone-shaping properties. Since it has a bunch of op-amps inside (JRC 4558's) it does stuff to your tone way beyond just the echo and modulation. A small-footprint (especially digital) pedal will never touch that aspect IMO. I prefer my signal with the DMM on even with no repeats; just warms everything up. I think the echos and modulation could possibly be emulated otherwise, but never the whole package.

I found the same quality with the Deluxe Memory Boy. Makes my dry signal sound better. Just wondering if the Diamond Memory Lane 2 have the same quality? Can someone who has both DML2 and DMM chime in? Can't decide between getting the DML2 or DMM w/ Tap Tempo?

That was exactly my case...I sold my big box DMM and picked up the FB soon after. It does fill the void nicely, not perfectly, but if you can't afford both (like me) it does a great job and then some. The tape echo is spectacular.

Conserve realestate and stack pedals on top of the DMM
