I’m not digging the N3 pups. They seem a little shrill. Looking to get a new set. Did anyone have a nice replacement for a vintage sound? Was thinking Lollar Dirty Blondes, but do I get reverse wound middle pup since theres the S-1 switching wouldn’t that mess up the combos?

There's hundreds and hundreds of options for a vintage sound.
Lollar Dirty Blondes will get you there. I like Bare Knuckle Mothers Milk.
Get a RWRP middle.

If I get RWRP will that mess up all the cool combinations in S-1 mode?

I have a Strat w/the S1 that has regular (not Noiseless) pickups with a RWRP middle.
It did not change any of the sounds.
