    Yes the guy may be in his own world, but I've seen way worse "artwork" than that.

    Actually, it has a little artistic appeal. The use of the whiskers is a deal breaker, as is the useless excuse for a strap.
    A little restaint could have produced a nice artful player.

    I actually like the look of it. I've seen brand new boutique guitars on these pages that look much, much worse. Seagulls play pretty well, too.

    I was going to do something like that to a $35 garage sale guitar ... thank God I didn't.

    One of those things that's best left "in theory".

    I was almost feeling the primitive art brut vibe, until I saw the pic of the back. still, Ive seen worse.

    I think the top looks great. The sides are good. The back, not so much. He went too far.

    But overall, I dig it.

    I think he should have practiced on some cheap lumber before doing that to a nice $500 guitar.

    I think it looks alright, eye of the beholder and all that. 'Condition: Like New' is possibly a little off the mark though...
