Just a simple sample of my new PRS DGT into my Super 17.

    http://www.joedavies.net/DGTIntoGoodsell.mp3

I left the volume on the amp the same for both rhythm and single notes but toggled between different settings on the guitar.

The left side is middle position with both volumes on 9 or 10 and unsplit.

The right side starts out on the bridge pu split, then I toggle to the middle position still split, then the front pu back to full humbucker and at the end the bridge pu full humbucker.

I think David and PRS nailed the PAF tone. The pickups remind me of a 62 SG I once had with PAFs. That guitar had the best sounding pickups I'd ever heard and this guitar is nailing that tone.

Now I just have to get comfortable playing a PRS after 40 years of playing a strat.

Really great Joe...I got to play one, really liked it. Thanks for posting.

Did you leave 11s on there?

Andy, I decided to put 10s on mine. The 11's felt OK except for the high E. Plus I've been playing .009s for 40 years and my old fingers were getting a little fatigued.

Yeah 11's might be too manly man I think. Sounded large with 10s though.

wow this is some seriously good tone, my ears just love the DGT tone and PRS in general, but my hands just cant get on with them. Maybe if the tone is that good my hands can just shut up and get used to it.

Don't know much about the SC245 but the DGT is awfully sweet.

Always cool sounds with your clips. :)

Curious about your setup, any pedals here, what tubes and speakers, old goodsell amp or new?

I got one recently and have been having some fun http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=376998
I need to put up some real clips though!
