Hi Ed-wholly tone Batman-luv it!-sounded like Zappa with tone!
but what or who is fusebud-any relation to Rosebud?
Geez! I just got done listening to this, and going through all your Youtube vids. Simply awesome - incredible playing and wicked tones on every little piece. You make me want to turn my guitars into chopping boards
Whats the chain on this clip? I love the sound your getting......
Vigier SL model into the new fave toy, a Tech 21 Comptortion (overdrive, compressor, gate box) into a THD Flexi into a Hot Plate into a Demeter iso cab with a V30 miked with a E609s. Into the computer, and then some verb added.
I love my Comptortion too. Sounds pretty good straight into the mixer!!
And I was just about to start worry whether you'd approve of it.
One of my faves from you for sure Ed! I loved the way you weaved through the changes starting at :15
LMFAOOL!!!!!! I'm sorry ED, I can't help it. Not laughing at your clip. I am with Scottl on this, it is absolutly one of the best things I have heard you post, playing great lines through the changes.
But I think you know what I am laughing at, in light of recent events.
nice, a bit short though, my ears wanted more
Sweet sound! +1 on Scott's comment as well.
So, what is a Fusebud? Website for it? Me wants to know more.
I'm guessing it'd have to be a sled...no?
That sounded really good Ed.
Seeing as I'm lacking in theory, what was the basic chord progression for the rhythm, and what type of scale (or whatever you call it) was the soloing in, if any? I ask because I'm trying to get my ear (and head) around how to hear melodies when I try to improvise, get out of the typical pentatonic major/minor stuff I usually play.
Also, if it's not too much to ask, could you post the whole version of that track? i really like what you're doing and don't want it to end so soon..
That is the whole version...
I'll analyze the thing later for ya...
i really like the tone, to me the playing goes off the beat for a little, but it seems like it didn't come back in that short piece. what i like to do is to catch my breath and get in groove with the beat, and then land on the the root minor or 7th in kind of brings resolution to the clip.
This is like me telling my mechanic how to adjust the timing on my cars engine.
I'm trying to catch my breath after your comment.
Nice job Ed!
I'm am living a Fellini movie here the past few days!!
Of course you know why I was laughing, and I knew there was more to come.
Your dealing with it well Ed.
I feel like inside a Dali painting...
If Ted says your timing is off, could it be that one with the melting watches?
Which 609 you using? The silver or the black?
That was what I had in mind...
It's the new cheapie one the silver.
