I was looking at the Continental Club calendar for something to see before Greg Koch and came across this.

    Looks like a doublewide, amiright?

Looks like a B bender. Check out Clarence White's old tele.

Some early b-benders are like that. Marty Stuart's is as well.

Might be something like this, added to conceal a early bender.

I knew a guy in the early 80s who had a b bender, by that time, they had it down to a metal plate that covered the arm on the back, but it was still heavy as heck.
There is a video of the back off, I think it might be with Marty, showing the mechanics. Crazy contraption for sure.

It's a bender, and actually probably built by Gene Parsons.

I've seen a handful of examples of those, one in person that I played briefly. They all had the full Clarence treatment as far as appearance goes, complete with stickers. Cool, but also cool to see this one that doesn't go that route.

Great song, Butch Hancock and also recorded and often performed by fellow Flatlander Joe Ely.

You have to go deep to get to the tone. Few are willing to go there.

Hah! I saw that guy at the Continental Club about two months ago. When I saw your three title, I had to click to see if it was him.

I guessed at the time is was some sort of contraption for his b-bender, and looking at the previous responses it looks like I was right.

I'd like to see Greg Koch at the Continental.
