Difference between BOSS PS-5 and PS-6

PS-5 being the Super Shifter and PS-6 the Harmonist (which I'm guessing you already knew).

Other than the 3-voice harmony mode, is there a real SOUNDING difference? Is the PS-6 less mosquito/digital sounding than the previous model?

I know a WH-4 is better, but I just need a small stompbox to fit in a crowded board, powered with 9V DC.

How does the HR-2 Harmonist fall in all this?
I've been looking to add one of these (or the PS-5 or 6) for fun, to do some Iron Maiden/Priest twin-leads when playing at home.
