Better check the specs, but besides what you said:

- No expression pedal (no sideways motion for G3X)
- Less a foot switch (or two? I assume the booster switch can't be reassigned)
- No dedicated headphones out
+ Battery operable

Correct. The tube boost is good if you need it; G3 users will likely have a fuller pedalboard than G5 users, and be able to add boost/warmth using another box.

IMO, the G3 is the poorly-priced model, now that they've bracketed it with the MS (multistomp single) and the G3x. Either of those, or the G5, is a better value for my tastes. The G3 just fits tight pedalboards better. All 4 are very well designed, which can certainly make for a tricky decision!

Oh, and your pricing looks a bit off. G3 is currently going for $170, G3x for $200, G5 for $300.

In canada the exact pricings are

G3 169.99$
G3X 209.99$
G5 319.99$

I do already have a Wah. My amp is a peavey xxl 212.
Is the pedal worth it for the other effects ? (Never had a multi-fx before)

Mostly be using it for headphone/recording use. Maybe in the effects loop of my amp if it sounds right.

Is this achievable with the 6 slots on the G3 ?
