    please feel free to post your own ElevenRack clips, here, too.

    so:
    my hard-drive is back
    --- great praise to those hidden geniuses who recover data from near-apocalyptic head-crashes ! ---
    so, some of my clips are back.

    here ya go.

    none of these clips are "mixed" nor "mastered", other than for fades;
    they're all using my own presets, all in the box..... except on 2 clips, as noted.
    (i suspect that my presets will be made available to all, by Digidesign;
    i don't know when.)
    all are live, but for one spot where i did a hack-job editing-out-of a useless 600ms.
    enjoy!, or not, as the case may be..... your choice, of course.

    EDIT:

    All the folks who want to hear how Eleven Rack does the clean->distorted gradient should check out the strummy part of "Clunch." It starts about 35 seconds in. If you keep listening, you get to go to Hawai'i for a brief moment.

    Are you doing anything special with the huge reverbs? They seem to get out of your way. Like "Spacious," for example.

    some very slight amount (ie, not much in the "mix") of modulated echo before the reverb.
    and:
    long pre-delay on the big reverbs, usually between 79-109ms.
    (halls are great for this, since the natural build-up of reverb density is also relatively "slow").
    the reverb tail is long, as well..... but much high-end is rolled-off,
    usually around the 2.5-3.2k area, or to taste.
    c'est tout, c'est sa!

    Are you running the reverb post-cab simulator? Same with the delay?

    Thanks!

    Yeah. Calling these recordings 'clips' is unfair to the sounds within.

    Wonderful - this was enough to convince me to pick one up an Eleven for recording minimalism & simplicity. I am a hobbiest who never gets anything completed because I don't have time to mess with mics/get things sounding decent/and can never recreate the tone properly when I need to go back and redo spots. This will be a welcomed life saver.

    If it sounds great in a live application that will just be butter on top.

    If I cant get good recordings now I will know it will be due to inadequate moving "components" in my capture chain.

    Agreed! Great sounds and playing as always. I was wondering when someone finally would challenge or offer an alternative to the Axe-FX!

    Splatt: That was fantastic! I really enjoyed both playing and sounds. Thanks for posting this.
    I hope you won't be offended if I say you've got a Scott Henderson vibe in your playing...

    I knew I was gonna like the sound of this thing, dammit.......... Do you find the input impedance feature of great value - and do you twiddle with it here? Thanks for the temptation/demonstration.
