Digitech micro Pog Killer?

it'll definitely depend on how well it tracks... Micro-POGs can be found for around $150 used, so unless someone already owns the i-stomp pedal you're not saving too much cash going this route

I haven't heard one single review about whether or not the istomp actually sounds good -- does anybody know if t does? If it does it would be a handy little device.

I have faith in digitech to make good sounding digital models of effects.

I don't really appreciate the apple connection like some will

their explanation was that it was the only way to make it happen as apple already has the infrastructure so to speak.

Psssh micro pog is simplistic and hard to beat. Still on top as far as I'm concerned.

I like the presets and filter on the pog2 so that's my go to octave pedal.

Not polyphonic. Not killin' nuthin'.

This. I listened to the demo, and when the ad copy says "polyphonic," it appears to only refer to the effect playing more than one note when it's fed a monophonic dry signal. "The most monstrous polyphonic riffs known to man" fell a little short....:rotflmao

There's a guy over on HC who has been posting videos of every new e-pedal as they are released, they all have sounded great. You must have missed Gearmandude's video review, where he said it sounded great and every comment said that had to be impossible! :)

Apparently the iStomp is the anti-TGP pedal. ;)

Ugh...iStomp, does anyone actually use one?

Ugh? I figured you of anyone would be interested in new tech, given your TC photoshopping hobby.

I've started to see them showing up on boards. It's just new and frightening.

am I the only one who thinks the micro pog sounds terrible to begin with?
nope. all of their pog/hog type pedals sound strange too me. just really synthetic and weird particularly on the high end. it's almost a ring mod sound. although as far as I can tell they are far better than any other pedal that attempts to do polyphonic harmony. watch the comparison videos between the hog and the eventide pitchfactor on youtube. the pitchfactor sounds like a toy in comparison.
