This thing sounds incredible, this is exactly the type of stuff I've been trying to replicate using my m13. How easy are these pedals to track down?

They pop up all the time on eBay. Price varies. I just got mine for $90, which is a decent price. One sold the week before for $165. Most seem to fall in the $125-150 range.

all of the non-dirt big box digitech stuff from that era are gold.

    I have the PDS1002 and 1700 (flanger/chorus)

The 1700 is as lovely as the demo you posted Bob... probably the same circuit (?). And well... the 1002 is legendary in itself.

Sad thing is tho, parts are hard to come by.

i've got a 1002 as well (but it's rehoused in a custom multi fx deal along with another pds 20/20). also had the 8000 and 3000 (verb) at one point. 20/20 is by far my fav.

I have a PDS 8000 and love it, also I just got a RDS 8000 rack version and it's even better. It has the craziest modulation I've ever heard.

didn't realize the RDS8000 had modulation too--thought it was just a PDS in rack form. that's cool, wish they made that in pedal form.
