Dimarzio Area T tele pickups. What do you think?

I just bought a Classic 50's tele and it should be here next week. I really want to go with some noiseless pickups, but I'm not sure what I want. I used to have an American Deluxe Tele with the SCN noiseless pups and they were ok, but didn't really do it for me. I did have a strat for a while and I put Dimarzio Area 58's and a 61 in and they sounded great. I loved the tone out of those.

So, with that said, what do you think of the Area T pups? Will they produce similar tone to the Area 58's and 61? I know it's a different guitar and all, but are the tones similar? What are your thoughts on the Area T pups vs other noiseless pups?

i've been looking at that pup and trying to figure out how traditional a tele tone it can get. can you run it in parallel to tame it a bit?

Ringmod -- your clip sounds really good to me! What amp are you using? Looks like a Z sorry if I should be able to tell from the vid, I dont get a chance to play a whole lot of Zs! But, still sounds good to me!

Go for the regular Area T Tele p/ups , they're definitely hot enough already!

I went ahead and bought a set of the regular Area T's from a guy here on TGP. I got a great price and they've barely been used. Looking forward to receiving my new tele next week and trying these Area T's!!
