Whats the consensus on these? I'm looking at the Area 58/58/61 set in aged white. They look really nice and I want to replace the Duncan Designed SC-101s on my Strat. They sound great but I think it's time to change it up. What do you guys think of the DiMarzios?

Awesome pickups. I have 4 Strats loaded with 58's 67's. 61's and Virtual Solo's . VS is my favorite bridge pickup. 61 sounds great in the bridge but it don't have enough bottom for my tastes.

Good enough for Aerosmith

DiMarzio Areas are outstanding. As far as the noiseless I've tried they are not quite as good as Bardens but much cheaper.

Love, love, love them. I have that exact set in an Eric Johnson Strat. I haven't even thought about putting the stock pickups back in for a second. The Areas are absolutely amazing.

I had the Area's in a strat for a while.
I also had Fender Hot Noisless pickups in another.
To my ear, the Fender pups sounded more stratty and were just as quiet.

Dunno about Virtual Vintage, but I have a pair of Virtual PAFs that I absolutely love, so I'd be willing to try 'em!
