I don't know if this exhists, but is there a soloution for playing harmonica through a mic, to make it sound more like a small overdriven amplifier?

Get the joyo American pedal, a clone of the tech 21 blonde, it does a passable tweed overdriven tone, and can direct to PA.

Also, a Shure Green bullet mic. It's lofi character is part of that overdriven blues tone.

cool. but the bullet mic, for example, would need an XLR to 1/4 inch cable into the Tech21? ...and then into the PA from there with a normal XLR cable?

Could you use a Y cable on an insert for this? (adding a overdrive pedal?)

Mark Ford, Robben's younger brother, uses a ART Tube MP Studio Mic Preamp and gets a killer sound from it. It has both XLR and 1/4" inputs and outputs so it will work with a Green Bullet mic without any fuss. This preamp can be a little noisy so make sure you turn down the gain on your audio interface. This setup with a clean amp, like a Fender Super Reverb, and a volume pedal works really well for a live rig.

I would go out of the tech 21/ joyo into a DI box 1/4" then out of DI to snake/PA xlr.
