Are there any other pedals that you would compare to the Lovepedal Eternity Burst? Out of all the eternities, I think it sounds the best, but it seems a little harder to find one compared to the rest. Or am I just crazy and they will all be similar enough I could get any eternity and be happy?

    So,:
Is there anything like the Eternity Burst?

Are the other Eternities similar enough?

No offense, but I'm interested in how this pedal earned it's reputation of being a better than average pedal.

Never tried the burst, but my Eternity has stayed with me for years while MANY other pedals have come and gone. It doesn't bond with every amp I've tried...but the ones where it does...it sounds fantastic.

It was very popular in 2004 and 2005

When Richard Fortus and Andy Summers started using it in 2006 - 2007 is when it earned a rep for being a better than average pedal..

I've always loved it and some don't..
Depends on your rig, type of player ect. ect.

I know people that have had theirs since 2003 and swear by it..

Interesting, thanks. I have had at least one amp-dependent pedal so I know what you mean.

Never had the burst but I had a roadhouse for awhile and traded it away stupidly. I asked to buy it back from the guy but he held on to it. So I bought a fuse. Great pedal as well and I will be holding on to it this time. Playing through a vox.

I'm pretty sure it's on "before he cheats" Carrie Underwood
Shawn Tubbs correct me if I'm wrong?

That main thing about it is the high output impedance
Sometimes it is very finicky with larger rigs. But I've asked a lot of guys about it and they say they never noticed.

I had a Lovepedal Eternity Fuse, best sounding overdrive I'd ever had. After going through Tubescreamers and a grip of clones, I came across this and it's amazing.

I just sold it to buy a Lovepedal Eternity Stack. I haven't had much playing time this past month so I can't accurately say how it compares, but my first impression is that I'm an idiot for selling the Fuse. I should have got both.

I think it's safe to say I am a Lovepedal fanboy for life.

Sean, please do a coupon run of SMD Eternity Bursts. I keep hoping for it in the emails, but no cigar.

Had a bunch. Loved all especially the old hand wire white and Burst. Have a new ET-ST and it covers all of the Eternity flavors and looks even cooler  Amazing pedal.

We are putting together 3 versions soon.

Burst E, Kanji and Roadhouse. My goal is to make all 3 available again.

The RH is still available yeah? I know the link still works. (I picked one up from an Australian Dealer who still has stock)

Now the Tiki drive.. that is one that would be cool to see in larger quantities and offered more (I know thats an impossible ask)

The tiki I kept 2 for myself.
    He won't build them anymore.

I think it is a phenomenal drive. I like splitting two amps then using it for dirt.
I use a Princeton reverb on one side and a tweed Victoria 5112 on the other.
Super thick and fat. Amazing pedal.

I have couple cool things we are doing with it..

One has these Jack Deville / MR. BLACK mods that Jack suggested and I really like!

The other is to build the old Balance pre into it..

I have two original handwired Eternities, a Burst and a Roadhouse. They are very similar, the difference I hear is mainly in the bottom end frequencies, the Roadhouse being a bit fatter sounding. I'd think any version of the E will be pretty much in the ballpark.
