Which would be better to push the front of my D-clone amp? I want The EJ lead tone. It doesn't have to be exactly just in the ballpark.

The Jetter Gold Standard, in shift position, targets the EJ lead tone rather well, that might be an option. I use it with a Glaswerks amp and I'm a happy guy.

Never played the DLS, but every Jetter pedal I've played has killed the competition!

I'd also strongly consider the Jetter Gain Stage Blue...very EJ sounding.

Owning both Jetter pedals and the DLS I don't think the DLS will work at all for your application.

    Go Jetter.

I have the 45/100 and played through a DLS, the DLS sounded a bit stiff, the 45/100 is a great pedal. I must say the Wampler plexi drive sounds really really good as well. its based on a JTM45 and the new one will be in my draw come the 27th. I probably will unload the Jetter at some point if your interested.

The Jetter stuff is probably the most amp like singing drives out there. Having said that I've not tried the 45-100. I would suggest the gs124. It does the smooth singing thing beautifully and at higher gain you can get Marshall type grind.

The DLS I remember is probably more like the actual amp. Where it would need a pedal to make it sing. To me more of a rhythm pedal like the actual amp with no pedal driving it.

Right on the spot. I use the DLS as a preamp and the SB side does a very good rhythm tone. Kick some pedals in for more dirt
