Did you not notice the k
Nope. My pickups sounded unlike anything. I couldn't get the parts I needed because I had no money at the time and the parts are unavailable at this time unless a factory manufactures what is needed. They didn't sound as good as my Gibson at the time, so I didn't bother. The closest to them would be Zexcoil in design. They sounded too different to be popular.

A tele has the same pickup position as a strat, yet it sounds like a tele..hmm...and a tele pickup in a strat incidently makes a strat sound like a strat, did you know that?

I finished grade 7 when I did that and was modding crappy Japanese guitars.

Nope. I never had money to patent them or knew about patents when I was that age. If I decide to explore the design with better materials, I want to patent it first. This is a big if since it's about 40 years ago.

All I will say is that each string had a separate pickup (saying it vaguely).

A challenge for you. Listen to the studio version of Wicked World by Black Sabbath. Which parts were recorded with a Strat?

The parts arent part of any pickup design, so they would need to be custom made. I salvaged some very old electronics to make it. They sounded very different but I can't say if they would be good and desirable now as I haven't heard them in 40 years. Who knows what happened to the originals I made.

Does it sound like a Strat though? Try listening to some. The guitar died and everything else was an SG? I doubt you would notice much that would make you think it could possibly be a Strat. Every guitar Tony Iommi plays sounds like him regardless. Nobody knew it was a Strat for decades. I'm pretty positive you wouldn't have known without reading about it. It doesn't prove or disprove anything other than some people sond like themselves no matter what guitar they play. Even something as quirky as a Strat.

This was my best Strat. Beautifully made guitar but I never bonded with it.

I normally dont care for relics but this reflected light off the cracks in the finish and sparkles. It was stunning. Faded Chartreuse Sparkle. It was under 7 lbs.

    Always.
I had a Fender Custom Shop Super Guitar in black.
    Didn't bond.
    Painted it red.
    Magic.
    Trust on red.

The dolls that were dragged around were every single antiquated notion that ever was in relation to these matters.
And they needed to be dragged around, it's 2020. Tone wake-up time.
The people that got upset stayed upset because they never asked themselves why they were upset in the first place.
Note the abuse towards me starting way back ( maybe still there?, I just can't see it.)
You won't see me crying crocodile tears about that, it has no relevance.
Narcissism you say...well, that sounds like an insult, so sorry crikey, I mean mate, it's ignore time for you.
Narcissus' g/f echo couldn't keep him away from the pond.
and rather ironically, my wife is going to get suspicious if i don't go back to bed.

Dude got called out for spreading bad information, baseless claims and hyperbole.

    He’s been crying ever since.

The incoherent rants are at a level rare on TGP.
