Disastera Area Dmc 3XL (1gen) Help!!!

im having trouble using my dmc 3xl 1gen to access bank scrolling for strymon timeline and bigsky. I have dmc connected to BigSky and bigsky to timeline . Purple mode won't work but blue mode both pedals scroll at the same time. Any help please!!!!!!!
