Divided by 13 and Ohm ?

    I just bought a Divided by 13 9/15 head and a matching cab....and the seller said that you cant use only one of the 2 8 ohm speaker outs, you have to use them both at the same time.That sounds a little strange to me....So does any one have any thoughts ?

    Sounds like rot to me, but the thought that immediately follows the initial one is:

    Get in contact with /13! Mr Taccone is a fine gentleman, and will sort you out.

    I use only one on mine all the time, and have for the last year - no issues.

    I have a D13 head/cab (rsa31). The cab has two 16 ohm blues wired to separate jacks.

    When I run the D13 cab at full power you use the two 8 ohm jacks.
    When I run a separate 8 ohm cab alone I use one of the 8 ohm jacks, full power.

    I do the same as Clarkram. My understanding is that the two outputs under the 8 ohm label are internally wired in parallel.
