This is a demo clip of the Divided by 13 EDT 13/29 head and 1x12 cab. I don't see many clips of the Divided By 13s so I hope this helps anyone wondering about this killer amp! The EDT is an incredible amp and one of my favorites if not my all time favorite amp from Fred @ Divided By 13.

Please excuse the bad playing so keep the flaming to a minimum....lol! Also keep in mind that for the demo I'm using a simple Sony HandyCam and its very simple built-in mic. The actual tone in the room is extremely hard to capture and of course much better in person. The tone on this clip is simply a reference so YMMV.

There are two clips. One running straight in to the EDT and the other is hitting it with pedals:

D13 EDT 13/29 Head and 1x12 cab demo - Part 1: LP Straight In

D13 EDT 13/29 Head and 1x12 cab demo - Part 2: LP with Pedals

    Enjoy!

Just stumbled on your clips by coincidence on youtube. I really like your playing and style and that EDT sounded phenomenal to me and a couple of buds round the computer.

What speaker do you have in that cab?

    Cheers

Oh I forgot do you think you could do the same with your RSA31?

..nice sounding guitar too. The Class A cleans are really nice, kinda tweedy, seems to get more marshall as you crank it and mess with the tone controls.

I could never get my EDT to get that much gain. But then again, you are using a Les Paul!! You can definitely hear those AC/DC fat tones in that amp, very nice!

Great stuff Vince! I'm glad to see you're still enjoying my old EDT. I do miss it. That's the first amp I'll add back into my arsenal when the funds are available.

Sounds very good to me. Marshall-esq when turned up a bit, but with better lows and a smoother top end. At least with a video cam mic and computer speakers, that's how it seems to me. Enjoyed your playing too.

    Thanks!

The speaker is a Scumback H75.

I plan on doing clips on my other amps and pedals...eventually.

    I agree!

I just realized that I didn't switch the wattage Class A/AB modes during the demo. I also forgot about the mini toggle switch on the back, which seems like a dampening mode select, like a bold/ soft adjustment.

    Killer amp!

    Sniper,
Thanks for the great clips! As you mentioned, the A/AB and dampening switches have a marked effect on the feel and "size" of the amp. Love to hear it with more pedals, guitars or speakers! :AOK

That is pretty accurate to what I hear in the room, granted my playing style really brings out the "Marshall-esq" styles of amps. I'm sure in the hands of another player you could get some other great tones out of it. Its an incredibly versatile amp.

    Glad you enjoyed it!

There are a lot of ways to "tweak" this amp which is the reason its so versatile. Hopefully I'll try and make some time to make more clips of gear.

    I just don't think I have enough chops...
