I'm not sure what pedal this is for but usually if you want a LED indicator you need to supply it with a 9v source.

    Post the schematic.

    Yeah, no 9v needed.

It's just a current limiter for the LED, bigger value = dimmer LED. 1K should be fine for a diffused red, I think I used a bit higher like 4.7-10k for the superbright ones I had.

I find 4.7K to be a good "across the board" resistor if you don't know the brightness of the LED you have. It's bright enough with the diffused and not too obnoxiously blinding with the ultra-bright ones.

1K will work, though. You won't fry it.

Yeah, I built it. Works great. I haven't installed the LED yet since I fried the first one. 18 cent lesson learned. :)

Finally got around to making one of these.

Kindafuzzy: I followed your diagram with THIS switch. It does not work. I am new to this so I am not sure how to communicate what might be wrong. Thanks for any help!

I wish the blueSky was Fav Switch compatible - then you could have 1 manual setting, 1 internal fav and 1 external fav :)

Is the resistors right leg touching the box? Also, make sure the connections you made to the jack are correct, hard to tell from pic.

Do they actually charge 71€ for this??
