I have played both and I prefer the 100 watt Bluemonkey ( I own the first one they made)by a long way. The Bluesmaster circuit takes pedals just fine. But, it is a really loud amp. Not for bedroom guys. Having said that, I prefer the Bluesmaster circuit in my Bludo as well. It is just more my tastes.

I am having some TGPers over tomorrow and we will also have a regular Dlite here. As well as four Bludotones, two Glaswerks, three Fuchs, two Two Rocks, a Bruno Super 100, and a Carol Ann. I am sure you can get some informed opinions then. For now, you can't listen to anyone since thecurrent spec Bluemonkey pretty much only exists in my basement. The earlier Bluesmaster Dlites were not quite accurate IMO. and the one at the ampshow was not completed.

    Sure... Hop on that plane!

We'll try and shoot some vid tomorrow. It should be enlightening.

LOL. I told them I wanted 100 watts since that is what all the Dumbles are. They finished it the night before the NJ Ampshow. It was not even tuned. So, it needed about 15 minutes of tweaks and a few part swaps to get in the zone. I think they just finished numbers 2 and 3? But I don't believe any TGPers aside from myself and maybe VoodooSound have experience with this model. My experience says that the 100 watt Bluesmasters sound way smoother and nicer than the 50 watters. I have tried them too. So, I recommend the 100.... Now I'd maybe take a Dlite 44 over a Bluesmaster 44. That is closer.

Both should be really nice amps. I was impressed with the youtube vids of the Blue Monkey (Bluesmaster).
