I've been hearing that the Panasonic chips that EH use to make their DMMs are A)no longer being made, and B)EH's supply is running out. I'm pretty sure this is true (maybe someone can confirm) and it's got me worried. I've wanted a DMM for awhile now, but always been on the fence, and now with the news of an XO DMM, I'm really waiting on that. So what I want to know is how long do you guys think it will be before EH runs out of these chips and start using something else?

See my FAQ for some info, I talked to them at NAMM and they said they have enough 3008 chips for "a while", which could be a month or 5 years...

Someone needs to start manufacturing all these old analog delay chips again. There is certainly a demand for them.

Yeah I did read your FAQ, and it had some great info, but I was just seeing if anyone else knew anything.

    Thanks
