I have a new set of tubes for my amp. They are the same type of tube as before, 6L6's, but they are a different brand. Does this warrant a re-bias in order to achieve the correct power output?

Yes, check and adjust bias (if necessary) whenever changing output tubes in a fixed bias amp.
Even a different set of 6L6's, of the same brand, would need to be checked and adjusted (if necessary)....................gldtp99

Allright, thanks. I figured it would be good to check just to be sure.

Is the amp fixed or cathode bias?

No matter what, when you switch tubes you should in the very least check where they are running -no exceptions....
