Do Wireless Headphones Lag?

Was thinking about grabbing a pair to use for recording on GarageBand; however, was wondering about potential latency issues while recording live instruments to background tracks or whatever. Thoughts?

Short answer, yes, quite a bit. Bluetooth headphones, even the low latency ones lag too much (in my opinion) to effectively be able to record with. Certainly WAY to slow to play live with other people.

I don't have that much experience, but the one time I tried to use a bluetooth headphone for recording, the lag was annoying enough to make me want to quit 20 minutes in. Your mileage may vary.

analog wireless=no lag.

pro digital wireless=microscopic lag, not a big deal.

bluetooth=forget it
