The problem with your argument is that the term "retard" is offensive, "Japanese girl" is not.

I'm not! At least I dont have to explain to her what all the names mean. That would be pretty tedious. And I certainly wouldnt want her knowing how much I spend on all of them LOL.

Yeah, it's better for everyone if you keep your thoughts locked in that brain box of yours

You're the 1st person I've seen with that opinion of the name, and honestly, it's a bit of a stretch. And any Japanese girl I've been with never made those sounds. There were more ooohs and mmmmm sounds. But that's been with most women I have "known". Maybe you are the one with the perverted mind?

The point is that you can't generalize like that across ethnicity.

Thats your opinion. I'd say the same to you but I wouldn't want to offend you in any way.

How would you explain what the pedal is called to a Japanese person?

I can't imagine being against political correctness while participating in a public forum as heavily modded as TGP is

I don't need to. AMT demonstrated it by making and naming their pedal the way they did

You're making an assumption on someone's motivation for naming a pedal. You have no clue what their true intent was, yet you go on pretending they have this malevolent scheme in which they do their best to create a negative stereotype with no desire to divine the the truth, but will fight tooth and nail to defend your position. Maybe you prove we're the A-holes for defending a seemingly benign name, here, otherwise your arguments are invalid.

I never claimed to be against political correctness. I just find your wild imagination to be fascinating.

Hey Nuno, I am thinking of creating a pedal called the American Girl Oooh and Aaah Wah. What do you think, would it be too racist? :D

They're not creating anything, it's just a crude, offensive joke based on existing stereotypes and you consistently prove yourself to be an a hole by grasping at straws trying to defend your decision to purchase a pedal. You've already stated you don't care how offensive the name of a pedal is as long as you like the sound so why even bother arguing something like this anyway?

Don't ask me, it seems I'm completely insensitive to things like that.

Pretty easy to hide behind white privilege in matters of racism isn't it

Because I feel you're the A-hole and part of a larger problem.

Oh, is it not racist because it is an "American" girl? Why is that different?
