How bad would that suck if it wasn't all you hoped it would be?

I saw Wayne at one of the Masters Of The Steel String Guitar shows years ago and had a chance to talk to him for quite a while after the show. I didn't know anything about him then, except he can play the heck out of a guitar! IIRC, he actually had one of his guitars for sale at the show. Really nice guy.

That is so weird. I just bought this book last night. Did I read correctly that he only charges $1500 per guitar? That is why he is so backed up!!

You mean like when Clapton waited a decade for Pattie Boyd and then divorced her 7 years later?

I got a preliminary copy of the book... no cover art of anything, almost an editors copy.

This is an excellent read! You will find out that the price of Wayne's guitars is NOT the reason why there is such a long wait.

Truly, a guitar fanatic's must read, IMO!!

I had the opportunity to play one of Wayne's guitars several years ago. I thought it was one of the best guitars I've ever played. I thought it may be the "Dumble" of acoustic guitars. Really special.
