Cloverfield is the scifi that keeps on giving with all the hidden pictures
and film like the last shot, what fell into the ocean? That's great mystery.
In fact the whole movie leaves you almost ad clueless as the actors.

It seems all scifi angles have been explored but Cloverfield is a new scifi idea.

I want the sequel and continue the story. Do you want a sequel?

    meh

A sequel I'm curious about though is for Blade Runner speaking of sci fi movies.

Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling are listed in the cast on IMDB right now.

I've wanted a sequel since I walked out of the theater after the first one. Coolest moviegoing experience ever. I thought they immediately started working on a sequel, but I take it that it never happened.

The viral campaign before the movie was brilliant, the best since the Blair Witch Project.

LOVED that movie, one of the best "monster" movies I've ever seen. Was hoping they would have made another by now. Very original, very good. I'd see it in a second.

It's a satellite that wakes up the monster.

The shaky camera stuff was slightly exhausting by the end, but I agree that it was a really cool and underrated movie. The sheer size of the monster was breathtaking...like the scene where they are looking down on it from a helicopter. Just really amazing visuals. A sequel could be cool, but I am not sure what direction I would be interested in the story taking.

I have always loved monster movies. A totally different angle on the monster genre (but still JJ Abrams...he apparently is involved in like 2/3 of the movies that come out now) is Super 8. Obviously more in the Spielberg adventure style, but another one I really enjoyed.

Cloverfield is the only monster/horror movie I've liked in the past 20 years.

    I'd love a sequel.

I'd love a sequel. I didn't like it that much but that had more to do with the vapid characters. The only one I rooted for was hud. The rest I kinda wanted to be eaten or stomped on.

Good film, incredible viral campaign and an interesting creature. A little less shaky cam would be better. Dunno what the sequel would be about?

They must have the money...if I recall it only cost 23 mill and grossed close to 200. That right there screams sequel

I didn't love the original as much as some. Interesting take on the monster/Godzilla concept, not executed well. Very low rewatchability. Not enough monster.
