For the price (~$60) they look pretty sweet...

I was wondering if anybody had tried one... I'm considering one for the end of my pedal chain in lieu of an EBJr. No way I could afford a Goodrich active right now... Any info/opinions?

Thanks HillbillySims... I was wondering, can the Artec actually BOOST your volume level? or does it work from unity gain, down... Also, have you noticed any change in tone from the pedal? And where do you use yours in your pedal chain?

    thanks

I havent noticed any change in tone (where as I DID notice tone change with the Ernie Ball & other "pot" pedals)...

However, I need to check & see if it actually boosts the volume. I believe you set your amp at maximum desired volume level & just use the pedal to take you from zero to that maximum level.

One neat thing is the pedal has a minimum & maximum knob.. pretty handy.

Forgot to answer your last question. I use it last in my chain... after all of my effects.. volume pedal placed just before my amp. (I go into the front input of my amp, not effects loop)
