Does anyone make a replacement steel block for the Gotoh 510?

I've seen the KGP brass block online but I'm looking for a replacement steel block for my Gotoh 510. No one will sell one separately and no one seems to make one from what I've seen. Any ideas?

Well the 510 is a series so I think they make a number of them but the one I have is the two post model with a zinc block.

I went through the same search about a year ago and came up with nothing sorry to say. Seems the only option is to buy an entire replacement 510 unit with the steel block. I don't know why Gotoh doesn't offer the blocks as a separate item?

Well that's frustrating. I would consider the Killer Guitar Components brass block but they dont actually make them themselves and dont keep them in stock so placing an order means a 2 month wait. Not gonna happen.

And dont get me started with the guy selling a stock steel block on eBay for nearly the whole cost of the trem...

What axe is this for?

I just got a Grosh Electrajet Custom, love the fact it has a six screw trem, was shocked and a little bummed to see a small zinc block attached to it though. Apparantly Don Grosh prefer's that combo, but i was gonna try to see if I could throw a steel block in it just for kicks...

Thats the FST block which is the same block on my trem.

I ordered a couple blocks from KGC and it never took more than a couple weeks.

If you want to replace the trem with the Gotoh 510 steel block look at buying direct from Gotoh Japan. They have stores which do international orders.

At a quick glance I saw no blocks, just the option of buying a bridge with it. Gonna email them though. Thanks for the link!
