Is there such a thing as a remote controlled 12v trigger?

There's not much out there on it.

    My bad back wants one.

    Cheers

I have a Furman Elite 15i power source for my flat screen plasma TV that has the ability to be turned on and off by a 12V trigger. The "trigger" is a brief output coming from (usually) a home theatre A/V receiver.

A casual search online shows there are remotes and receivers available to do what you want. Looks like Amazon has them too.

Yeah, like TK says, most A/V receivers have them. Heck, I have an old Yamaha RXV-995 (1999 vintage) that has it and you can probably pick up a working one with a remote for under a $100...then you'l have a remote 12V trigger and 100 wpc X 5. I use it as a two channel amp in my modest little recording area.
