Does the edt13/29 sound similar to the cj11? I want the tone of the cj11 with more volume, Scott

The EDT does have the Class A mode @13w which is tweedy, but the KT66 should give it a little more volume. I've got one incoming so I'll make some clips when it arrives.

I think we're all going to crap ourselves when someone finally posts clips of the EDT. You'd think Fred, being the wizard that he is, would have one of his endorsees make some clips of all his amps. WTF.

Yeah, if I had an amp company that all these pros were going nuts for, I think I could get some clips from them.

Have you heard the FTR 37 Peter Thorn demo...incredible!

I promised clips and haven't delivered yet. I may have some time this afternoon. If I can beat my landlord home, I'll try and squeeze out a quick clip with my tele.

    Wish me luck!

Ok, here's the deal. Just recorded about 7 minutes of noodling, with the amp set clean (9 o'clock - lo input) and the bass and treble both set at noon. I messed around with a bit of reverb as well. My apartment is the third floor of an old 1920s multi family house, and i live right near a hospital, so i get TONS of radio noise and interference. if you can bear with the background noise, the clip does a decent job of showing how wonderful the cleans are.

By the way, I recorded straight in with my modded tele (lollar special in the bridge, WCR crossroads in the neck) with an SM57 going right into my Korg D888. Absolutely no EQing other than what the amp and guitar knobs allow.

If you want me to post it, let me know. I'll clean it up and throw it on soundclick.

    almost ready!!!

edit #1: slight compression added to even it out a bit. the bass is still a bit strong, and it's coming out of a V30.

edit #2: excuse my low volume playing and noodlage. i just wanted to get SOMETHING up. you can hear a little bit of Ryan Adam's "Answering Bell" in the first part, Black Crowes' "Oh Josephine" in the second part, a quick bridge pickup riff in the third clip, and a very old John Mayer tune called "Sucker" (WCR Crossroads neck position) for the last clip.

No problem! Skydog, I know you (and others) have been desperately waiting for some clips. These recurring EDT threads kicked my ass into gear today!

Ok, for settings, it's as follows:

13 Watt Mode - Lo Input
    Volume: about 9:30
    Treble: 12:30
    Bass: 10:00
    Reverb: 8:00

I know everyone says this about a good amp, but what you hear in the clip is obviously not showing what the amp really sounds like in person. If you think it sounds big and huge, you're absolutely right. Just imagine it filling the entire room up! Incredible 3D sound to it, and it's only coming from my V30 loaded 1x12! The reverb is awesome; I think better than the FTR's reverb. I will try and get some cranked up clips very soon.
