Does the fact that the Egnater Tweaker doesn't have power scaling matter to you?

They're really nice amps but I was wondering if you thought that the fact that it doesn't have power scaling really made a difference or not?

no. You don't need it with the Tweaker amps, they sound great at any volume setting.

Egnater "does" the perfect master volumes (IMHO).
I've never wanted or needed any attenuators or power-scaling in over 15 years of Egnater-equipped gigs - whisper-quiet background "jazz" to roaring outdoor fests.

I don't know what's going on in the topology, but the Master Volume on the tweaker is pretty impressive. Yes it sounds better turned up, but it certainly doesn't sound bad turned down.

For even more flexibility, you can run a volume pedal, or an effect with a level control, in the effects loop. But it's not necessary.

Their good bargain tube amps with decent tone... Power scaling would be overkill.
