Does the Wampler Faux Tape Echo get decently bright?

Most of the demos I've seen don't put the tone all the way to the right. I want to know if it can get fairly bright... wouldn't use this sound all the time, just wanna know if it's in there.

I had a Faux analog echo and it made my amp brighter, got rid of it. Altered my tone;( I tried the new tape one against the Rockett Alien Echo and the Rockett won for more warmth and feel.

When the tone is set all the way to the right, the repeats are brighter but there is also more hiss/white noise. I keep mine at noon or less. The noise isn't really a problem unless you are isolated. I typically use it when the entire band is playing. i use the timeline for other situations. All in all I love the tape echo. The modulation is beautiful.
