    Guys!
I have gotten hold of a neat little pedal.. decided to put it to the test, and and I'm pretty impressed with the results! ;)

    Setup is:
S520EX/RG7621 --> NEW PEDAL (always on) --> TRI AC (clean, as amp sim) --> demeter (For solos) --> DD3 (for solos) --> PC line in.

Mix down with some slight eq-ing and reverb (for leads), thats it!
    Make a guess!

its a good cheap metal pedal... esp when modded to the keeley mod. Gets rid of a lot of the fizz plus splits the gain into 3 levels (via toggle switch), which makes it more articulate. :)

I am decisdedly anti-pedals 99.9999% of the time but have used and still own both an MT-2 and Tech21 GT2 as well as an original SansAmp Classic and while the MT-2 doesn't do much for me (mainly just due to the fact that I'm a vintage tone kinda guy) I have to say both the GT2 and Classic ARE amazingly natural sounding. Both seem to retain the basic character and dynamic feel of a real tube amp. I have used both in front of my big watt non-master volume amps when I really needed to get the volume down while still having plenty of drive on tap with excellent results. The tones are still dynamic, chunky and very natural sounding. I'm truly surprised I haven't seen a lot more press and use of the Tech21 / SansAmp stuff over the years. Great stuff!

BTW... while this is definitely not my style of music your composition and production (and chops) are very impressive. Nice job! Thanks for sharing.

Man, when you have the Sansamp GT2 around, you definately will not touch the MT-2. ;) Its a superb heavy gain pedal that GT2.

Btw, sent you a PM abt the classic. :)
