It says they're 'custom', which they clearly appear to be.

Obviously not a Replacements fan, eh?

Hey jb1911, my sig is a reference to the band The Replacements. All of the phrases or words in bold are titles of some of their albums. They were a huge influence on me growing up, and still are one of my favorite bands. Paul Westerberg was their frontman, and has released some great solo albums since the band broke up around '91 or so. Thanks for asking, and feel free to check either the 'Mats (as fans often refer to them) or Paul Westerberg's music if you feel so inclined.

(I don't trust the neck. Maybe I am crazy, but it doesn't look Fender to me.)

It looks like a real 70s w/ a NON factory Bigsby and someone removed the dot inlays and put in crappy looking CROOKED diamonds for fret markers

a factory Bigsby would not have a string thru body - notice the ferrules on the back side ??? I dont think Fender put the bigsby on

Fender did have some Tele's from the factory with a Bigbsy but that was late 60's. 68-69 I think?

yes - they did - but they didnt have holes thru the body -because there would be no point. Strings stop at the bigsby

A stock bigsby tele is a top-loader tele

Tele CCustom would have 3-bolt neck.
The 100% feedback @350 says okay to me, or at least he may answer your questions...but caveat emptor. That's a pretty high bin for a tele w/ changed parts.
If the bridge is changed, who knows about the pickup?

yeah I missed that - I wasn't sure if the originals were a "stock" modified guitar or made for the Bigsby.

I am not sure that the inlay work was done at the factory, I don't recall Fender having a custom shop back then.

It's hard to tell from those photos, but the neck sort of doesn't look as old as the body particularly from the back. Could be glare from a flash or lights?

Ask for some more pics, preferably one with the neck off and showing the end of it (good luck with that though).

The headstock doesn't look right to me(that pointy bit by where your thumb would go).
