The Diamond Memory Lane can be modded (at source) to tap in dotted eighths.

They've come up w/some really great mods since I got mine last fall, but it ain't leaving my board till I get some backup. My Echoczar should be ready any month now..

Here is a demo video of the Deluxe Memory Man where dotted eigth note delays are featured:
    http://www.lamberti.com.au/video/ehx_promo_05/MPEG/07_DeluxeMemMan.mpg

It is from the free Electro-Harmonix DVD of sample/demos of pedals. Sadly, the H.O.G. and 2880 are not on the DVD, but there are demo videos you can find on google....

Here is a page with more demos from the DVD:
http://www.lamberti.com.au/pages/ehx_videos.htm (there are WMP versions of the clips and all the other clips from the DVD on this page, too)...

    I love my DMM!

+1 to the Boss DD-20! Has the perfect balance of versatility and user-friendliness, not to mention some great sounds I can get outta it.

Can do just about any note you want down til sixteenth notes (not inclusive)

    TC D-Two.

Boss DD-5/6 do it too, IIRC.

Hope this sounds constructive, it's intended that way. Here's another way to get there. If you can play a dotted 8th, you can tap a dotted 8th. Or, for a non-tap-tempo pedal, if you can hear a dotted 8th, you can twist a knob until it matches.
I know in the heat of the moment it's easier to tap four on the floor and let the delay box calculate, just throwing in some options.
BTW I'm a big fan of the DD-20 and the D-Two.

Sorry, nope. DD-5 only has a dotted quarter. Not sure on the DD-6.

That's how you do it with the DMM.

Beat me to it. I love mine to death. Soooooo much you can do with it once you get under the hood.

Here's how I set dotted eighth w/o tap tempo-

    In time to the beat......

1 ee And uh 2 ee And uh 3 ee And uh 4......

I hit a note on "1" and mute it instantly with my palm, I adjust the delay time until the repeat sounds on the "uh".

    Thanks, Ed R.

note: This is even easier with the echoczar "flash tempo" feature, because you can watch the LEDs flash, and sync-up visually, using the exp pedal to set the delay time. (still not tap tempo, but cool in an old-school kinda way).

The T-Rex Replica will do dotted eighths....there's a lot of talk that it's just triplets, but at least mine is dotted eighths. :)
