At the moment I am using a Snouse Black Box for the slight breakup, and it gives me that Bassman sound that I wanted.

Take a really good sounding MIAB, tape over the graphics and write "Bassman" on it.

We all live in a yellow submarine
    Specifically JTM45 on a box.
Menatione Workingman's Blue will do it nicely.

Dirty Blonde is in the ballpark too. I love Brian's stuff.

Glad to know I’m not the only one that didn’t like the 59 Sound. It was a head-scratcher for me.

I have a HAO Sole Pressure and think it sounds pretty good, even with the limited tone control. I've only cranked a Bassman once but the Sole Pressure does a good simulation of that sound. Great pedal at the end of chain to boost solos since it has a big bottom end that works well for solos.
