Not exactly breaking news, but MOTU has chosen to release Digital Performer for Windows. Announced at NAMM and getting a Spring release, according their website. Who knows how stable the first version will be, but at least Windows folks can now see how great (imho) DP is.

I wonder what this means for MOTU's future w/ Apple. Ever since Cupertino got their hands on Logic, it feels like they treat MOTU like red headed stepchildren (at least that's my impression).

Nonetheless, I've been using DP for years, and though I like plenty of Logic's features, I always feel more at home with DP. Hoping that version 8 runs as well as 7 has for me.

I still use DP 7. Mainly for overdubs at home. No reason to switch to PT or Logic.
I have my key commands and workflow down, and it just works.
    Glad MOTU is still developing.
