are there any d'pergo AVC owners in los angeles with the 60s pups installed who would be interested in doing some tonal comparisons? i have an AVC with the 50s pups and i'm curious about the 60s... PM or email me if you want to get together.

    cheers,

Sorry to hi-jack, but is this a D'pergo headstock?! I can't make it out for sure, but the shape says YES...

Sorry, NorCal here and also with a set of 50's. Ask Matte to chime in, as I believe that he had both in house at the same time.

    Cheers,

    Edward

    hey david,
thanks for the info. out of curiosity, how do you compensate for the lower output? is it simply a matter of turning up the amp or do you find that you have to eq it differently as well?

(thanks re avatar! fan of your work. lars got me... gonna buy prezens today. would love to get together and talk about music, scoring, etc. some time!)

    all the best,
    -j
