Did you happen to order the Cherry Birdseye Delites kit from Guitar Center?
If so, that used to be my kit. Steve Smith and Jack DeJohnette both played that kit in clinics here in Columbus.

Tama kit from the late 80's, A. Zildjian cymbals, Remo heads, 7A size sticks. I do not recall the series of the Tamas. This shot is a gig my band played at a basketball in-door stadium - all original music. I now play guitar. No one wants to help drummers move gear!

Nobody wants to, but they do. I always have help. At least from the singer and a couple of friends who are always at our shows.

I posted a shot of this thing thrown in the back of my truck on page 1, but I picked up some new secondhand hardware and set my kit up to test it out.

Pearl Export EX, unknown era.
OCDP Maple Snare 7x13
Zildjian 14” New Beats
21” Sweet Ride
16” Med Thin Crash

I’d like some better shells and might snag an 18” crash at some point. I think I‘ve accidentally just piecemealed a version of the A series starter pack, but finding it piece by piece did end up being pretty cheap and I like the sounds.

Someone left the shell kit at my house 20 or so years ago. I think it’s a Tama. I stripped the wrap and hand painted them a few years back.

the snare is a Ddrum and the cymbals are a matched set of Sabian Paragons. View attachment 266420

The lugs/hardware/spurs/mounts all look like a mid to late 80's Tama I played for a few years. Great sounding drums and they took a long hard beating.

Circa 1973, the year the photo was taken, not the drums.
Slingerland Bass drums and a couple of toms. The rest are Kent and whatever I found on the side of the road. Covered them in black vinyl to match. I believe the snare was a Ludwig Suprophonic. Great snare I wish I still had. The ride is a 24" Zildjian that my brother's friend borrowed and cracked.

My 1997 Yamaha Maple Customs I still have. Two ride toms were Power Toms that I had Precision cut down. All cymbals except the china are late 60's early 70's Zildjians. Best cymbals I've ever had. Got them with a set of Blue Vistalites in the late 70's. Vistalites are long gone. Actually the smaller crash is a Paiste Signature now. It replaced another 18" Zildjian that was identical to my other 18".

This very nice set of Slingerlands will become mine later this week; 12/13/16/22, with a 14" chrome Krupa snare. They are in "museum" condition, according to the seller. My first set was Slingerland Champagne Sparkle, but they are in need of a full and costly restoration, so the plan is to part out the shells and hardware to defray the cost of these.

Update: I picked the drums up today in South Jersey and they are very nice indeed. They need heads, of course, and a couple of small hardware items, but I'll be taking care of that this week.

current pic of the super slow, 1964 round badge Gretsch Name Band restore kit. Most of the parts for the high tom are on their way or one my bench and I still need to send the snare out for rewrapping.

and the 1965 Ludwig Club Date awaiting some love (there's a matching Ludwig Pioneer snare with this kit, just not pictured)
