Drum machine pedal

Does anyone make a small form pedal type drum machine that could be used on a pedal board? For me optimal features would include lots of pre recorded patterns in dif styles and time signatures, ability to set tempo with the foot switch, ability to download user created patterns, and while it would be in signal chain, option to run a line to dedicated amp (and having true bypass in that event). Oh -- and a simple click track that can be used in various signatures too. (Maybe even a headphones jack?)

Given how small electronics have become, I would hope this could be feasible?

That's a great idea. The only/first thing I can think of off the top of my head that comes even close is the Zoom G3. Tap tempo, but not (I think) user programmable. Obviously not drum specific either, so larger than I'm guessing you're thinking.

Lacking tap tempo, but filling a small looper (RC3, Solo XT, etc) with wav loops is a kind of decent temporary solution.

I found a pedal that appears to presently be vaporware, but at least as posted, would seem to possibly tick a number of the boxes. Tried to email and got a bounce back.

Anybody know anything about this?

Boss made a pedal format hand clapper years ago.

I hear they are super warm but I prefer real handies, even the colder ones.

do you know of anything similar to those 2 boss pedals that are made now? ie guitar pedal format sound triggers that can be put in a guitar pedal chain?

maybe I should start a thread dedicated to that

A dedicated drum pedal would be awesome. It could be really inexpensive too if everyone didn't feel the need to cram looping functionality into one.

the Adrenalinn and M-Audio Black Box include drum patterns and can load patterns you make on their computer app

Why does this need to be in the signal chain? From what you described it doesn't sound like you want it to affect your guitar signal. The Adrennalin 3 is what I'd suggest if you want it to affect your guitar signal but if you just want drum patterns then buy an independent drum machine. Most of them have speakers so you can play along and if you're ever in a live scenario just plug the machine directly into the PA. Having a drum machine'esque pedal sharing the same EQ as your guitar signal chain would sound pretty bad.

Yeah, me too. Kinda annoying since the concept is so cool (almost can't believe nobody came up with it yet... this'd go so well in the Boss or Digitech line). Would make a killing with street performers.

I appreciate the input, but my goal here is simplicity, and if it screws up the signal chain then, it does. I already have a means to run a stand alone drum machine with a double pedal to control it; what I'm looking to do is add a small form pedal into a small pedal board.

Yep, Zoom an Digidesign modelers are cheap and have models with drums built in.
