I chose Ginger Baker in the poll and I would have loved to play with him . . . but I'd also loved to have played with . . .

    Art Blakey
    Francis Clay (Muddy Waters band)
    Jimmy Cobb (Wynton Kelly Trio)
    Ben Dixon (Grant Green)
    Elvin Jones
    Connie Kay (Modern Jazz Quartet)
    Tony Williams

Out of that list, Copeland and Peart. But I'd love to jam with Carter Beauford.

I've always loved Dave Grohl's drumming and I'm always stoked when he gets back behind the kit

I voted for him and Keith Moon

For what I played( early '70s Rock)with my band, I would bookend Moon for pure showmanship and true lack of predicability, and Ringo for the exact opposite. In reality Moon would require at least to handlers and Ringo would probably be to spare for Marshall stack music, but it would be fun.

    I'm a horrible drummer...but I LOVE drums.

    Depends on the vibe: Anton
    Steve smith
    PORTNOY
I've played with Pretty Purdie- that's a wonderful touch,
    JEFF PORCARO
    Quest does some tasty stuff...
Danny Carey makes my head spin...

I enjoy drummers who lead the set and make it easier to sit.
