I'm doing some multi-track 1 man band recording & am in need of a simple drum machine - software or a korg style kinda box. Can anyone reccomend a simple box in the $300-500 range?

Keep in mind- i'm a digital nooblet - heh, 98% of my equipment is analog/tube so needless to say I'm more then behind on my digital infos.
